December Greetings to you!
Snow is falling in the mountains, the downed leaves are sheltering plants of spring from the oncoming winter, and shorter days leave time for reflection and self care. This newsletter will address some suggestions on a novel approach to de-stress what can be a highly charged time of year.
How can you maintain balance of inner and outer through the year end?
This is a challenge for most of us, with holidays turning into buying frenzy of consumer consciousness that bears no resemblance to its humble beginnings…
It is possible to shift this for each of us – by intent, through daily positive self care, and starting with the consciousness we bring to New Year’s resolutions now.
1. Practice GRATITUDE on a daily basis for the gifts of your special life
2. SIMPLIFY: “Tis a gift to be simple…” If you give holiday gifts, try making simple gifts, and for those who have no material needs, consider making a donation to non profits that pay it forward!
3. Practice SELF CARE – Continue your daily self care routines, and prioritize your own health in the choices you make at holiday gatherings.
4. INTENT – Keep your focus on the intentions you set for this season and the year’s end.
Wishing you continued wellbeing,
Wendy Pollock DC, CCH
